Forcing Mac to quit the application does resolve the problem but may have downsides. When you close an application in the traditional manner, it will clean everything it runs in the background and alert you to save the work. When you force close on Mac, you may end up losing files and data, or mess things up on the drive. First time to have MBP retina. My issue on my MBP is when I close my MBP to transfer to another location (house to coffee shop), when I open my MBP I notice that it closes the apps I have open before I leave the house. I used chrome & opened 4 to 8 tabs, then when I arrived at the coffee shop it open the chrome again but the tabs are not there.
Close Apps Mac Air 13.3
I turned on my MacBook Air today and whenever I click on anything, I get a rainbow wheel. And whenever I click on apps they just bounce and won't open. And sometimes it will just rainbow wheel on login and won't let me in. Basically it's impossible to use. I'm not sure what to do. There is also this message that keeps popping up which says 'macOS needs to repair library to run applications. Enter your password to allow this.' and this pops up overtime I turn on my MacBook, and when ever I enter the password it just comes back again and is impossible to just do anything with it.
